Research shows that making your bed in the morning is a great way to start your day feeling good. Some may argue, ‘What’s the point if I’m just going to get back into it again that night?’ But studies show that when you make your bed, you get a hit of dopamine (productivity), which gives you that good feeling inside. You’ve already accomplished one thing that day. The happy chemicals begin to permeate your body. But when you’ve spent a good half hour in the shower singing the soundtrack to Hamilton, and are now seriously late, even making the bed takes time you don’t have to spare. So when you come out of the shower and your husband has already made the bed, giving you a little more breathing room to leisurely get ready for your day, well, THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING!
