#267 Sleeping in your third trimester

This is my first pregnancy so it’s all new and weird and blissful for me. What I have noticed is that between having to pee in the middle of the night and indigestion, having a good night’s rest is not in the cards. After three nights of this in a row, you’re ready to throw something heavy against a wall or someone out the window. Perhaps this is your baby’s way of preparing you for those sleepless nights ahead. I get it. He or she is trying to avoid sending you into complete shock when they arrive. But wouldn’t it be nice to get that sleep now considering what lays ahead? Gotta roll with it I guess. However, there are things you can do to work the system like eating clean foods that don’t cause indigestion, stopping the eating portion of the program earlier in the evening to give your body time to digest, and taking a couple tums before settling into bed. So, when you finally curl up and fall asleep without any burning sensations and sleep (mostly) peacefully through the night, THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING!
