WHEN YOU LEAN YOUR HEAD IN TOWARDS YOUR BABY AND SHE LEANS IN RIGHT BACK, NUZZLING HER FOREHEAD AGAINST YOURS (AKA, Bumping Heads) - OIY! – I never had a dog growing up. Actually, that’s not entirely true. I believe we had a dog for three days and then gave him away because we were scared of him. At least I think that’s the story that was told to me. We also never had a cat, so I don’t know much about their behaviour either. But you know how cats lean in and rub against your body as a sign of affection? Or a dog will move towards you for some love and affection? That’s Keaton Radley. She’s kind of a puppy and a kitten. She does this thing where she looks at you and tilts her head downward (as if in judgement) but then leans her head forward towards yours so that you bump heads. She’s telling you to lean in too. At this point she usually rubs her head on your forehead. It’s a sign of affection, and it’s the sweetest thing ever. My heart melts each and every time, sending oxytocin coursing through my veins.
